God has blessed Barbara and I with our minis and this is our way of giving back. If you know of anyone that would like a visit from the Minis, please let us know. And If anyone ever asks, what are they good for? Tell them they create an abundance of smiles and give lots of love!
Minis have a special bond with all people, young and old and everyone inbetween! Their role is to please, to give love and to receive love. We fully understand this.

We went to the Okeechobee Health Care Facility in Okeechobee on December 9, 2002 and took two of our most loving minis. "BBM Poo Bear", who is a 2 year old and is about 25 inches tall and "12 Oaks Giggles".
When we arrived it was raining, but when we walked through the doors it was all sunshine and smiles. The residents were waiting in the reception area all in their wheel chairs. Everyones face lit up and smiles came across their faces when they saw the Minis. The minis were not intimidated at all by the residents wheel chairs and walked right up to be petted and loved! They even received a few kisses even though they were a little damp from the rain but no one seemed to care.
After everyone had their chance to see the Minis we went into the rooms to visit the patients that were unable to get out of bed. One of the most remarkable things that happened was with one of the ladies that wanted to pet the minis. The lady was confined to her bed and unable to turn over to reach "Giggles". I was trying to get "Giggles" as close as I could so she could pet her and "Giggles" just moved closer to the bed and laid her head beside the ladies hand to be petted. I looked at the ladies face and she had tears running down her face as she whispered...."Thanks".
That made it all worthwhile, to know that this made just one person happy and to give a little love back will touch anyone's heart. May God bless each and everyone there.
